About This Event
Cost: Free to Attend
Course
Bring your young ones to this class that teaches them how to stay calm and make quick, smart decisions in common emergency situations. This event is free for everyone! Children of all ages are welcome, but this class is most effective for children between the ages of 7 and 13.
Strangers, natural disasters, injuries: there are so many unexpected things you worry about daily that could put your child in harm's way when you're not there to help. Give yourself more peace of mind—give your children more independence and the ability to stay calm and act quickly in a variety of common situations:
- Strangers approaching your child
- Natural disasters and fires
- Basic wound care and accidental poisonings
- Basic home security and break-ins
- Other emergencies
This event has fun, interactive elements throughout that will keep your child engaged. If one of your children is an older sibling, they may especially benefit from this event as someone who may be responsible for one or more younger children in an emergency.
You'll also receive take-home documentation that will help you prepare your child to react in an emergency situation according to your home's home security, exits, and other factors.
