Is bariatric weight loss surgery right for you?

The CoxHealth Bariatric and Metabolic Surgical Institute will be hosting a series of seminars discussing questions surrounding bariatric weight loss surgery. 

There are three seminars scheduled in the months of February, March, and April. These seminars will be a mix of in-person and virtual, with limited in-person spots available at the Meyer Orthopedic & Rehabilitation Hospital. Registration is required. 

Below are the official dates and times for the seminars: 

• February 21 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. (virtual only)
• March 14 from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
• April 18, from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

The seminars will be hosted by Dr. Matthew Simpson, an experienced bariatric surgeon at CoxHealth. He will discuss topics like qualifications for weight loss surgery, types of surgeries, risks and complications, insurance concerns, and next steps.
