Jacob Bolt, MD

I was raised in Mountain Home, Arkansas, and grew up loving athletics and outdoor activities. I have always been a proud Razorback, and I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. I attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.

Growing up in rural Arkansas I had the opportunity to see full-spectrum family practice firsthand and the profound influence these physicians had on the people in the community. I enjoy the diversity that family medicine provides and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients. Cox was at the top of my list after I completed a fourth-year rotation with the program. The attending physicians, residents and administrative staff were supportive and passionate about teaching and patient care.

I met my wife, Sarah, at the University of Arkansas, and we got married the summer before I started medical school. We spend most of our time outdoors, with family or with our two bulldogs watching our favorite TV shows. Outside of work and spending time with family, I enjoy deer and turkey hunting.
