Participants must have at least six months of fetal monitoring experience.Course CoversThe AWHONN intermediate fetal monitoring course addresses principles of fetal heart monitoring, including:Performing Leopold maneuversPlacement of an intrauterine pressure catheter and fetal spiral electrodeInterpretation of fetal monitoring tracings using a case-based approachIdentification of physiologically based clinical interventionsCommunication and risk management principlesCourse DeliveryThis course includes lecture and hands-on skill stations. Online prerequisite education is required prior to attending the one-day course.
