Hours
General: 7 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. dailySome units, including the intensive care units, Stepdown unit, Pediatrics unit and 700 East, have varying exceptions to visiting hours. Optional Maternity quiet hours at 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. We request no more than two visitors per patient in a room at the same time. Children are welcome to visit, but they must be accompanied and carefully monitored by an adult at all times.

Cox Medical Center South is the jewel of the Medical Mile. Located on the southern edge of Springfield, this full-service facility has been serving physicians and their patients since 1985. The growing campus includes many physician offices, a Level I Trauma Center, the Dee Ann White Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Jared Neuroscience Center and more.

Visitor Parking
Each parking lot has designated parking for visitors. Handicapped parking is available near each entrance. Please do not park in the drive directly in front of the main entrances; this area is reserved for patient loading and unloading.
Free valet parking services are available 6:30 a.m. - 7 p.m., Monday-Friday, at the North Entrance and the West Tower Entrance of Cox South. Parking services are provided by Springfield Parking Company, and are a safe and secure parking option for our patients and guests.
Cafeteria
Our cafeteria is open for complete meals during the following hours: 6-10:30 a.m., 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., 4:30-8 p.m. and 1-3 a.m. The grill is open from 6 a.m.-8 p.m. Snack items, beverages and fruit are also available during these hours. Atrium Bakery & Cafe
The Atrium Bakery and Café is located in the West Pavilion, and offers a variety of breads and pastries, soups, salads, specialty sandwiches and desserts. The café is open 6 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday through Friday. Call 417-269-6761 for a recorded listing of the daily specials, or call 417-269-6760 to place an order.
Gift Shop

Salon 3800
Salon 3800, a beauty salon, is located in the lower level of Hulston Cancer Center. Patients and visitors are invited to use its full range of services. Regular hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, with late appointments available upon request. Call 417-269-5545 to make an appointment.
Coffee Shops
The Primrose Perk coffee shop offers whole-bean specialty coffee, espresso drinks and smoothies, plus a variety of pastry items.
North Lobby location: Monday – Friday, 6 a.m. – 8 p.m., Saturday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Chapel
Patients and visitors are invited to meditate in our chapel, which is located just beyond the Information Desk in the main Cox South lobby. The chapel is always open. Monday through Friday at 11 a.m., a chaplain delivers a brief, inspirational message.
Ronald McDonald House
The Ronald McDonald House of the Ozarks is located across Primrose Avenue from Cox South and provides low-cost lodging for parents and siblings of children hospitalized at Cox South. For more information, call 417-885-0500.
Cox Plaza Hotel
This 30-room hotel is conveniently located on the second floor of Wheeler Heart & Vascular Center, directly across the street from Cox South, via the National Avenue Skywalk.
