Pre-Course Requirement: Successful completion of the Cardiac Dysrhythmia Interpretation: Step One course. THIS COURSE IS FOR COXHEALTH EMPLOYEES ONLY.Course CoversThe Interventions for Dysrhythmias: Step Two course addresses the principles of care for the cardiac patient, including:Brief review of anatomy and physiology of the heart and the cardiac conduction system.Briefly explain cardiac impulse formation and conduction.Discuss dysrhythmia waveforms and correlates to nursing responses.Discuss indications for medicinal therapies related to drug use, action and dose.Discuss other substances and activities which may affect cardiac functioning.Course DeliveryThe course includes lecture and discussion.
