Five nurses honored at CoxHealth’s Nurse Recognition Night

For nearly 10 years, CoxHealth has held an annual event recognizing its nurses and the work they do to advance their skills and expertise.

More than 450 nurses were recognized at 2017’s event, which was held on May 4. In addition to honoring nurses for advancing their education, achieving first-time specialty certification, participating in the STAR clinical ladder and earning DAISY Awards over the past year, five awards were given to specific nurses for going above and beyond for CoxHealth’s patients. Those individuals include:

RN Preceptor of the Year: Julia Eden, RN, Cox Monett

Clinical Nurse Excellence Award: Kalene Jochems, RN, BSN, Cox South

Nurse Inspiration Award: Heidi Clark, RN, CEN, Cox Monett

Rising Star Award: Tracy Forker, RN, BSN, WOCN, Cox Branson

Nurse Leadership Award: Shannon Rantz, RN, BSN, RN-BC, Cox South
