Residents Man Hsuan Melany Su, MD Man Hsuan Melany Su, MD I was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, and moved to the United States when I was 17 for college. I studied biology and literature at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, before attending medical school at New York University. My interests in global health and community medicine, along with the variety and flexibility of the specialty, drew me to family medicine. I am also a National Health Service Corps scholar and will be working in an underserved area for four years after residency. Outside of medicine, I enjoy running, spending time outdoors, traveling, reading and learning languages. When I visited CoxHealth Family Medicine Residency, I was impressed by its well-rounded training, mission to provide compassionate care, and supportive faculty, staff, and residents. I am extremely thankful to call Springfield my new home and CoxHealth Family Medicine Residency my new family.
